Job Summary
Conduct on-site safety assessments, facilitate employee training, and lead safety committee meetings to drive measurable improvements in client safety performance. Develop, write, and edit OSHA-compliant safety programs and policies while reviewing and approving client deliverables to ensure regulatory accuracy. Build trust-based relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and project leadership to support at-risk engagements and maintain strong client retention. Maintain accurate documentation, track performance metrics, and identify process inefficiencies to recommend continuous improvement initiatives. Requires 5+ years of construction health and safety experience, CSP/CHST credentials, and comfort traveling 1–3 nights monthly from Minneapolis, MN.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction health and safety experience preferred
- CSP, CHST, or ASP credentials strongly preferred
- Proven technical expertise in OSHA 1926 and other applicable construction safety regulations, including state- or region-specific requirements
- Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs on active construction sites
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills; able to earn trust quickly with clients and site teams
- Highly organized with strong documentation and reporting skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence client safety culture and drive measurable improvements
- Comfortable traveling 1–3 nights per month to support client needs; location: Minneapolis, MN (relocation assistance available)
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
