Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor

Job Summary
Ensure compliance with internal and external health, safety, and wellbeing requirements while maintaining the HSW system across the project. Conduct regular site inspections, engage with contractors and suppliers, and provide mentorship to Project staff. Develop briefings, toolbox talks, and HSW documents; review sub-contractor risk assessments and incident trends to drive improvement measures. Monitor supply chain performance, close out remedial actions, and deliver regular compliance reports. Support incident investigations and root cause analysis. Act proactively under own initiative to uphold Dragados S4S values.
Required Qualifications
- Experience of relevant construction projects
- Good knowledge of construction techniques and their HSW implications
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent minimum accreditation
- TechIOSH membership minimum
Desired Qualifications
- Good knowledge of Information and Communicatinos Technology systems
- Knowledge of behavioural safety techniques
- Able to work collaboratively as part of the HSW Team and Project Team
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills

- Willing and able to act under own initiative
- Actively support, promote and live the Dragados S4S HSW values
