Job Summary
Health, Safety and Ergonomics Manager responsible for leading Health and Safety programs in Magna Exteriors’ manufacturing environment (including injection molding and painting facilities). Duties include developing and implementing safety initiatives, applying industrial ergonomics practices, analyzing and solving safety-related issues, training staff, and driving continuous improvement. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field, five years of leadership experience in safety programs, strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, and proficiency with Windows and Excel. The role emphasizes compliance, training, and collaboration with operations to create a safe, efficient workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related field of study
- Minimum five years’ experience successfully leading Health and Safety programs
- Demonstrated strength with analytical/problem solving, interpersonal, team building, oral and written communication, and organizational skills
- Must have working knowledge of Industrial Ergonomics
- Must have strong computer skills in a Windows platform, with strong knowledge of Excel
