Job Summary
As Health & Safety and Environmental Specialist, support the development and improvement of the Health & Safety and Environmental Management System and GV Corporate standards, coordinate with local environmental teams, act as the main point of contact for HSE activities, ensure legal and voluntary compliance, engage with regulatory bodies, conduct visits/audits to operational sites, and support health and safety programs, training, incident management, non-conformities, audits, and HSE metrics across multiple business units. Will work with international teams, drive ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 implementation, and travel nationally and internationally. Requires English proficiency and eligibility for travel; hybrid work arrangement in Madrid with 2 days teleworking.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in energy sector, with focus on renewable energy
- Previous experience in Health and Safety in a corporate, multi-site, international environment (mandatory)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in integrated management systems (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001)
- Professional training in Health and Safety minimum level VI (preferred)
- Ability to inspire, support and oversee international teams
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and resilient in difficult situations
- Driving license and availability for national and international travel
- Good communication skills in English (mandatory)
