Health, Safety and Environment Officer

Job Summary
Conduct daily site rounds and monitor office facilities, including electrical systems and lighting, while overseeing preventive maintenance and construction projects. Lead health and safety compliance by performing workplace inspections, investigating incidents, and managing hazardous materials in strict adherence to Philippine OSH standards. Develop and execute environmental programs to ensure regulatory compliance with laws such as RA 9275 and RA 8749, including preparing pollution control reports and managing emissions data. Organize safety training sessions, maintain incident records, and serve as the designated Safety Officer and Pollution Control Officer across all Philippine entities.
Required Qualifications
- Completed the mandatory forty-hour BOSH training from the OSHC (Occupational Safety and Health Center), an accredited training organization, or a university-based education relevant to the industry.
- Completed an additional aggregate of 80 hours of advanced/specialized occupational safety training courses relevant to the industry.
- Completed an aggregate of 320 hours of OSH training.
- Actual experience as Safety Officer 3 for at least four (4) years in a BPO setting.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in environmental compliance, regulatory affairs, environmental management systems, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Philippine Occupational Health and Safety standards and compliance requirements
- At least 2 years of proven experience in environmental compliance, regulatory affairs, environmental management systems, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of key Philippine environmental laws.
- Proven experience in preparing, reviewing, and managing EIAs/EMPs in Philippine context.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Australian environment laws is a plus.
- Experience in Australia context is a plus.
