Job Summary
Develop and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and management systems while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements including the Factory Act 1948, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001. Conduct safety risk assessments for new production lines and lead training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors. Maintain fire protection systems, drive timely closure of audit findings, and implement global policies covering PPE and vest standards. Lead awareness initiatives such as Safety Week celebrations and near-miss reward programs to foster a proactive safety culture. Support continuous improvement efforts to strengthen workplace health, safety, and environmental performance. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Fire & Safety Engineering and 10–15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Fire & Safety Engineering, Fire & Industrial Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
- 10–15 years of relevant HSE experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proven experience implementing HSE management systems and driving statutory compliance
- Strong knowledge of firefighting systems, emergency preparedness, incident investigations, and safety audits
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent NEBOSH certification
Desired Qualifications
- Additional certifications such as ISO 14001 Internal/Lead Auditor, ISO 45001 Internal/Lead Auditor, or First Aid certification
