Job Summary
Coordinate and manage the facility's Health, Safety, and Environment program at Bollinger Houma Shipyards. Lead HSE staff, conduct incident investigations, coordinate trainings for workforce, visitors, vendors and customers, perform inspections to ensure compliance with policies and regulations, develop corrective actions, maintain HSE records and reports, and perform trend analysis to support facility safety and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the HSE field required
- Working knowledge of regulations and operations of local and federal agencies (i.e. LDEQ, EPA, USCG, OSHA etc.)
- Strong Program Management Skills
- Must have proven track record in managing facility safety issues and coordinating safety inspections, trainings, and meetings
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and implement initiatives to achieve facility HSE goals
- Basic computer skills with MS applications (MS Word/MS Excel)
- Strong communication and people skills
