Job Summary
Identify and document onsite safety risks during daily site walks, tracking issues to recommend hazard elimination strategies. Evaluate equipment needs for project work, ensuring all necessary gear is ordered, stocked, and available through participation in daily and weekly meetings. Assist in investigations and reporting for accidents, injuries, illnesses, fire, and property damage to ensure timely, compliant resolutions while recommending improvements based on reporting trends. Provide first aid and emergency services to onsite injuries, ensuring accurate documentation and offsite medical clinic attendance. Support subcontractor safety program evaluations and notify management of non-compliant procedures to resolve corrective actions. Requires high school diploma, preferred bachelor's degree in organizational health & safety, and construction industry experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to take ownership for assigned tasks, as defined by supervisor
