Job Summary
Screen callers to determine eligibility for Nevada healthcare programs including Medicaid, Medicare, and Access to Healthcare Network services. Process referrals, answer inquiries, and accurately input caller data into the database while maintaining membership accounts. Provide backup support for front desk operations and transportation dispatch, communicating updates to drivers and clients regarding scheduling and service status. Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to service level agreements while collaborating with the supervisor to resolve caller concerns. Requires bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, a valid Nevada driver's license, and two years of customer service experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Nevada Driver's License with an acceptable five-year driving record that meets AHN insurance requirements
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience
- Minimum of two years of computer experience, including proficiency with Microsoft operating systems, word processing applications, spreadsheets, internet navigation, database entry, and report generation
- Must attend staff and interdepartmental meetings
- Must adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Ability to travel and operate a vehicle for extended periods, including driving up to 4-6 consecutive hours as needed
- Ability to sit at a computer for up to 6 – 8 hours per day
- Ability to stand and walk for 3 - 6 hours per day
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements, including keyboarding and data entry
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
Desired Qualifications
