Job Summary
The position requires design and delivery of information literacy instruction and in-depth research assistance, focusing on fostering relationships with faculty, students, and library partners. The librarian will serve as the primary liaison with various college programs, create learning resources, manage citation tools, and engage in professional development. Candidates must have an ALA-accredited master's degree in library science and relevant experience, alongside strong communication and critical thinking skills.
Required Qualifications
- ALA-accredited master’s degree in library science
- At least 3 years experience in an academic, research, hospital or medical school library
- Ability to multitask and manage details
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to serve a diverse population
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for innovation
