Job Summary
Conduct consultative sales and service for customers seeking information on health, wellness, and income protection products. Perform plan comparison and analysis using web-based tools to track enrollment support, execute outbound call campaigns for Under 65 and Over 65 segments, and develop retention strategies for at-risk customers. Provide customer-friendly solutions for inquiries regarding benefits, claims, and billing while teaching self-service resources. Log all inquiries for reporting, host customer video appointments, and lead grassroots marketing, networking, and event activation to drive community awareness. Assist employer groups with onsite enrollment and support special events, seminars, and promotional activities at the Florida Blue Center. Work 40 hours weekly from 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday coverage during peak times.
Required Qualifications
- Reside in North Miami, FL or surrounding area within a 30 minute drive to the Florida Blue Center
- Work schedule of 40 hours per week during 9am - 6pm Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday work
- Obtain State of Florida 2-40 license within 60 days of hire
- 2+ years related work experience in a sales and service environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work
- Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
- Must be able to be exposed to outdoor weather conditions of cold, heat, wet, and humidity
- Must be able to be exposed to outdoor or warehouse conditions of loud noises, vibration, fumes, dust, odors, and mists
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field Marketing, Business or Related
- Experience with health insurance products to include individual and group plans
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
- Experience in outside sales and/or business development
- Experience in networking, public speaking, and relationship management
