Coordinate daily Radiation Protection evolutions and establish programs for monitoring radiological control practices. Assist supervisors in directing day-to-day activities, including log reviews and coordination with station work groups. Develop and maintain department procedures while coordinating radioactive waste management, ALARA, dosimetry, and respiratory protection programs. Monitor program effectiveness to produce trend reports and represent the department on the Chemical Overview Group. Act as contract coordinator for various Radiation Protection Contracts and support outage planning with radiological support plans. Assist in developing and overseeing training for technicians and radiation workers.
