Job Summary
Transplant Hepatology physician role within Banner University Medical Center Phoenix’s academic division, focusing on all phases of care for patients with end-stage liver disease, including pre- and post-transplant management, and leadership in an expanding program. Responsibilities include performing and supervising Upper Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, and liver biopsies, teaching Internal Medicine/GI residents, fellows and medical students, and engaging in clinical research and quality initiatives. The candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team, participate in selection committees and departmental meetings, and may pursue clinical research training through a Masters in Clinical Research pathway. Requirements include AZ medical license (or eligible), BC/BE Hepatology, and fellowship training in GI and Transplant Hepatology. Opportunities exist for involvement in education, research presentations at national meetings, and advancement within an academic setting.
