Job Summary
Faculty of Transplant Hepatology at Banner University Medicine and University of Arizona seeks a senior physician to advance a growing, academically vibrant abdominal transplant program. Responsibilities include clinical hepatology and liver transplantation care, leadership opportunities, and active participation in academic research and mentorship. Collaboration with transplant surgeons, transplant anesthesiologists, intensivists, and a multidisciplinary team is expected. The role emphasizes clinical program building, academic scholarship, mentorship, and potential engagement with innovative initiatives such as robotic organ transplantation, living donor liver transplantation, and auto-islet transplantation, supported by the BIO5 Institute and the Boyer Liver Institute. Ideal candidates will bring board certification in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology, demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary liver transplant care, and an interest or experience in living donor transplantation, advanced liver therapies, and clinical trials. Required Qualifications
