Health Officer - EF Aswan

Job Summary
Supervise all health activities in Aswan, Elminya, and Kafr Elsheikh, including planning, coordinating, and reporting primary healthcare interventions and community outreach programs. Lead capacity building for health staff and community workers while managing project design, budgeting, and monitoring aligned with donor requirements. Ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and documentation to support advocacy for universal health coverage, while maintaining 70% field presence and reporting to a Senior Health Officer. This two-year fixed-term role supports Save the Children's effort to strengthen Egypt's primary health care system for vulnerable populations including refugees and migrants.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in medicine/nursing/pharmacy
- Minimum of 4 years of successful experience in project implementation with a reputed organization or NGO
- Experience managing primary healthcare activities, especially on a community level
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing and negotiation
- Strong results orientation, with the ability to challenge existing mindsets
- Very good computer skills
- Report writing skills in English
- Commitment to Save the Children International values
- 70% presence in the field
