Job Summary
Non-professional instructional role assisting a licensed teacher in Health Occupations within a classroom or laboratory setting. Duties include working with individual or small groups on projects, aiding in development of instructional materials, providing general pupil information to support learning, utilizing skills in areas such as foreign languages, arts, crafts, music, and similar subjects, and helping maintain an effective learning climate under supervision. Requires high school diploma or equivalent; certification eligibility for teaching assistant with temporary license or continuing certificate at appointment. Term of employment is 10 months. Report to Building Principal.
Required Qualifications
- Eligibility for certification as a teaching assistant as evidenced by possession of a temporary license or continuing certificate. Possession of a license or continuing certificate at the time of appointment.
