Health & Nutrition Coordinator

Conduct monitoring, audits, and health record reviews to ensure compliance with OCFS, Head Start Performance Standards, and CACFP requirements while implementing corrective actions. Oversee delivery of health and nutrition services including screenings, immunizations, and oral health, and supervise center nurses and dieticians. Coordinate care for children with chronic conditions and special health needs, advise staff on exclusion policies, and support families in accessing medical and dental services. Develop and implement health policies, procedures, and staff training. Participate in licensing inspections, committees, and program operations.
