Job Summary

Set and uphold department standards for customer service, cleanliness, sanitation, and profitability while recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising HealthMarket employees. Assist customers with product location, heavy purchases, and health education without providing medical advice, then analyze sales trends to plan promotions and displays. Oversee ordering, replenishment, pricing, and expiration checks, ensuring compliance with Hy-Vee policies and dress codes. Coordinate daily work plans and schedules in partnership with store leadership, operating cash registers and handling performance evaluations. Requires 1 to 3 years of related experience, high school diploma, and ability to lift 100 pounds in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing 100 pounds or more, with or without mechanical assistance
Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or similar material-handling equipment (required operator certification must be completed prior to independent use)
Ability to safely use sharp knives and blades to cut, trim, or grind product
Ability to operate a cardboard baler or compactor
Ability to unload, lift, stock, and rotate incoming truck freight and merchandise
Ability to work in cooler or freezer environments for extended periods
Ability to work with and around standard store equipment
