Job Summary
Entry-level Health Information Specialist responsible for processing release of information (ROI) requests for medical records in a HIPAA-compliant, high-volume environment. Handles patient health information with confidentiality, maintains knowledge of EHR systems, assists with administrative duties, answers inbound/outbound calls, and supports timely, accurate documentation and data entry while adhering to privacy and policy standards. Priorities include accurate file preparation, securing patient data, and delivering high-quality customer service. High School Diploma or GED required; strong English communication, attention to detail, and ability to work across locations are preferred.
