Job Summary
Datavant is seeking an entry-level Health Information Specialist I at its Oklahoma City, OK location to process Release of Information (ROI) and medical records requests. The role involves handling patient health information while safeguarding privacy, ensuring HIPAA compliance, documenting information across platforms using two monitors, answering inbound and outbound calls, assembling medical records in standard order, creating digital images of paperwork for the EHR, and meeting productivity expectations. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, strong English communication, and customer-service/data-entry experience; preferred experience includes healthcare environment and in-person client interactions. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:30 pm, with potential overtime during peak periods and benefits including PTO, health/vision/dental insurance, 401k, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
