Job Summary
Health Information Manager responsible for maintaining resident medical records, ensuring confidentiality, auditing admissions/discharges, and coordinating record releases per federal/state guidelines. Oversees Medicare Certifications, maintains disclosures accounting, and supports facility readiness during OHCA/government surveys. Requires an Associate’s degree in Health Information Services; certification in Medical Terminology, Coding, or Medical Records preferred; two-step TB clearance; strong communication skills; and proficiency in Word/Excel.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Health Information Services
- Certification in Medical Terminology, Coding or Medical Records preferred
- Must have current medical/health screening including 2 step TB clearance (can be done in-house)
- Experience in working with Medical Records preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
