Job Summary
Health Information Management Technician (PRN) provides cross-trained backup for all service areas in the HIM Department and rotates coverage based on departmental needs. Responsibilities include release of information, preparing birth certificates, and scanning of medical records. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; pre-employment drug screen is required. Preferably a graduate of an approved Health Information Management Program with RHIT or RHIA credentials.
