Job Summary
Conduct routine industrial hygiene monitoring for air quality, noise levels, and chemical exposure while maintaining compliance documentation. Manage the chemical inventory system, including SDS updates, labeling, and coordination for use reduction. Coordinate ergonomic assessments of workstations, document findings, and support implementation of improvements. Schedule and deliver safety trainings with internal teams and vendors. Track hazardous waste storage, labeling, disposal, and manifests to ensure permit and SPCC plan compliance. Monitor studio spaces for ergonomic or hygiene risks and report corrective actions. Support the Safety & Environmental Manager with data gathering, reporting, and compliance tracking. Assist with emergency preparedness, including spill response procedures. Work on-site in Hillsboro, OR, with hybrid eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in production/manufacturing environment, including 2+ years are directly related to ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and environmental regulations
- Extensive knowledge of emergency response and handling hazardous materials, required
- Strong knowledge of Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) regulations on hazardous waste and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health's (NIOSH) guidelines for workplace exposure limits, required
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively
- The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
