Job Summary
Teach multiple sections of Health in Grades K-6 while implementing the 'FRIENDS' SEL curriculum. Collaborate with the K-6 team to build a data-driven scope and sequence, co-facilitate student groups, and provide social, emotional, and behavioral support outside the classroom. Counsel individual students, advise parents and faculty on child development, and offer referrals for outside resources. Stay current on health best practices, create interdisciplinary connections, foster an inclusive environment, and collect data to evaluate the program. Deliver faculty training to address community needs. This 10-month position supports the Health and Wellness Department's mission to nurture students' social, emotional, and intellectual lives within Dalton's progressive framework.
Required Qualifications
