Job Summary
Health Economist to support design, execution, and delivery of health economic analyses, evidence reviews, and modeling projects evaluating the value of healthcare technologies; responsibilities include developing economic models (cost-effectiveness, budget impact, disease burden), conducting sensitivity analyses, analyzing real-world data, literature reviews and evidence synthesis, developing value dossiers and payer packages, and delivering client-facing reports and presentations. Required skills include proficiency in R/SAS/Python/Stata, advanced Excel, data visualization, scientific writing and communication, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams in a remote/hybrid US environment. The role offers remote/hybrid options with office locations in Upper Saddle River, NJ; Red Bank, NJ; and San Diego, CA. Salary range: $90,000–$110,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quantitative research methods
- Undergraduate degree in math, statistics, operations research or bioengineering
- Advanced degree in life science, pharmacy or related discipline
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
- Proficiency with PowerPoint and spreadsheet-based reporting
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Clear and effective written communication of complex scientific concepts
- Strong presentation and data storytelling capabilities
- Attention to detail and scientific rigor
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work within cross-functional teams
- Initiative and ability to work independently with guidance from senior staff
- Client-focused approach with strong professional judgment
