Job Summary
Health Director (Adult Day Services) oversees health care and medical needs for adult day program participants. Responsible for developing and amending health policies and procedures, monitoring participants’ health and changes in condition, and leading emergency response (CPR/first aid). Supervises health services, coordinates with a multidisciplinary team, administers medications as appropriate, maintains medical records, and coordinates services with associated providers. Leads nursing-related care plans, quality assurance activities, and staff training; maintains family/caregiver communication and ensures participant safety and regulatory compliance across center operations. Requires RN license in Maryland, CPR/First Aid certification, and multi-year healthcare and management experience with senior populations. Must demonstrate leadership, effective communication, and the ability to work independently and problem-solve within a center environment.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current Maryland license
- Current CPR and First Aid
- At least 3 years of experience in a health care setting
- 2 years of management experience with senior population in health care setting
- Ability to communicate effectively with participants, families, care providers, colleagues, and the community
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem-solve
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
