Job Summary
Design and facilitate the full cycle of the Health Core Fellowship Program, including curriculum planning, skill trainings, and site visits to local health agencies. Manage fellows' enrollment in the City College of San Francisco certificate program and build a year-round pipeline of paid internships with partners like UCSF and SF General Hospital. Recruit, screen, and retain mentors while monitoring engagement, and develop retention systems to track program outcomes and employment placement. Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders and represent the team at community events. This role blends direct youth facilitation with partnership management to prepare young adults for certified Community Health Worker employment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in public health, biology, health sciences, health education, behavioral sciences or related field
- 3–5 years of combined experience across: (a) direct work with transitional age youth of diverse backgrounds, and (b) program coordination or partnership/stakeholder management
- Experience managing partnerships or contracts with external institutions (healthcare systems, higher education, government agencies)
- Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
- Availability (if appropriate): for example, must be available to work weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Suite (Doc, Sheets, Slides, Drive); experience in creating designs on Canva is a plus
- Experience in community organizing or community development is a plus
- Experience managing partnerships or contracts with external institutions (healthcare systems, higher education, government agencies) strongly preferred
