Health Coordinator - EF Aswan

Job Summary
Lead implementation of community health activities in Aswan to improve well-being for refugees, asylum seekers, and vulnerable migrant populations. Hire, train, and supervise Community Health Workers while coordinating with the Ministry of Health and local NGOs to support primary care operations. Plan and execute health awareness sessions, manage cash-for-health reimbursement programs, and conduct needs assessments for infrastructure and capacity building. Report monthly data, draft analytical reports, and ensure partner NGOs deliver activities with high quality. Travel 70% to field sites across Aswan, Elminya, and Kafr Elsheikh. This two-year project, funded by Expertise France, aims to strengthen Egypt's primary health care system and pilot inclusion of refugees in the national UHIS.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in medicine
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in implementing and supervising health services to vulnerable populations especially mobile clinics
- Experience with refugee/marginalized communities
- Previous experience in health system strengthening with similar projects and initiatives
- Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) and good knowledge of English
- Commitment to Save the Children's values and Child Safeguarding
- Field travel: Based in Aswan, with 70% travel to the field
