Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness of the Pool, Kids, and camp areas, Health Club, and Thermal facilities while following daily checklists. Assist guests with familiarization tours, conduct History tours, nature walks, hikes, bike rides, and boat tours as necessary. Manage float and all revenues during shifts from equipment rentals and merchandise sales. Deliver beverage items, present beverage lists and promotions, and act as a first responder for water rescues using a motorized rescue boat. Follow departmental policies, safety, and sanitation standards while offering professional, friendly, and engaging service. Report to the Recreation Manager with other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with outdoor activities – kayaking, canoeing, biking, and hiking
- Experience with children in a day camp environment
- Comprehensive background check
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Pleasure Craft Operators Card
- Pro Serve certification
- Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
