Job Summary
Seeking an experienced and caring Health Center Supervisor with excellent communication and customer service skills. Responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of a surgical health center, managing staff, ensuring quality patient care, and overseeing reproductive health care, primary care, and surgical services. Ideal candidates will have strong leadership skills, experience in health services, and a commitment to the Planned Parenthood mission. Must be able to delegate effectively, work flexible hours, and travel within Los Angeles County.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum of one-two (1-2) years’ experience in a health, medical or social service setting required
- Primary/managed care experience required
- Reproductive health care experience strongly preferred
- Ability to delegate to and empower staff effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours, including extended hours and Saturdays as needed
- Ability and willingness to travel within Los Angeles County
