Job Summary
Front-desk healthcare role at Desert Cove in Phoenix: greet patients, process check-ins, schedule appointments, and conduct intake interviews while updating demographics and data in accordance with clinic workflows. Reports to the Practice Manager and supports patients through compassionate, professional service during vulnerable times. Requires at least one year of front office customer-facing experience in healthcare, hospitality, or banking and offers training. Duties encompass greeting patients, appointment scheduling, verifying demographics, basic insurance awareness (UDS data knowledge), and supporting efficient clinic operations. Location: Desert Cove, Phoenix, AZ. Training provided; Monday–Friday daytime schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of relevant front office customer-facing service experience in healthcare, behavioral health, dental or a medical office
- High School Diploma or GED (within six months of starting) or an associate’s degree in medical/health fields or related area
- Familiarity with health insurance eligibility and electronic health record management systems (NextGen preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual abilities may be preferred (based on location)
