Health Care Tech- Float Pool

Assist with unit supply maintenance, instrument cleaning, and chart documentation. Collect patient data as directed by the Registered Nurse and demonstrate competency in psychomotor skills including vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, and intake/output measurement. Perform or assist patients with activities of daily living, prepare them for transport, and provide 1:1 bedside care. Float for various inpatient units to deliver direct patient care such as specimen collection, personal hygiene, and feeding assistance. Remove peripheral IV lines, foley catheters, and a-lines at designated units. Maintain patient safety through direct bedside monitoring.
