Job Summary
Registered Professional Nurse (RN) within the Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS) to provide patient-centered care across specified cardiac units, using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Emphasizes collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team; leadership and professional practice grounded in ANA standards and the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act; ethical practice, cultural diversity, health teaching, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement. Must maintain BCLS certification within one month of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Connecticut license as Registered Nurse
- BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire
