Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) responsibilities include delivering patient-centered care within the Yale New Haven Health System framework, applying ANA standards and the CT Nurse Practice Act, exercising leadership and delegation, collaborating with the health care team and patients/families, practicing evidence-based nursing, and continually evaluating care outcomes to ensure quality and safety. Emphasizes effective communication, ethical practice, cultural competence, and adherence to professional practice model while coordinating care across the care continuum.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Connecticut Registered Nurse license
- Current BCLS certification or ability to obtain within one month of hire
