Health Care Assistant - Surgical Vascular ICU Step Down - FT - 3rd Shift

Provide technical patient care services and clerical support under physician direction. Perform patient care activities including vital signs, activities of daily living, transport, and patient transfers to discharge. Assist staff, physicians, visitors, and ancillary departments with routine care and respond to incoming or patient calls. Enter patient charges into the computer system, maintain patient charts and unit files, and manage secretarial supply levels. Ensure a safe and orderly environment on the surgical vascular ICU step-down unit. Requires BCLS certification by orientation conclusion and previous patient care or two years clerical experience. Full-time third-shift position.
