Health Care Assistant - Madison Hospital Acute Med Care 3rd FL - FT - 3rd Shift

Support the assigned unit by providing technical patient care services including vital signs, activities of daily living, transport, and patient transfers. Assist staff, physicians, visitors, and ancillary departments with routine patient care activities and clerical support such as directing incoming calls, responding to patient calls, entering charges, and maintaining charts and files. Maintain a safe and orderly environment while ensuring BCLS certification is completed by the conclusion of orientation. Requires previous patient care experience and two years of clerical experience with a successful work history. HS/GED required; Certified Nursing Assistant course preferred.
