Health Care Assistant - CICU 2 (Cardiac ICU) - FT - 1st Shift

Support the assigned cardiac ICU unit by providing technical patient care services, including vital signs, activities of daily living, patient transport, and discharge transfers. Assist physicians, staff, and ancillary departments with routine patient care activities and clerical support such as directing incoming calls, responding to patient inquiries, entering patient charges, and maintaining patient charts and unit files. Ensure a safe and orderly environment while managing secretarial supply levels. Requires a high school diploma or GED, preferred certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and BCLS certification by orientation. Previous patient care experience or two years of clerical experience with successful work history is required. Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
