Job Summary
Provide resident-focused care within your scope of practice while observing residents for status changes and reporting unsafe activities. Assist and accompany residents in moving about the community and participating in functions. Collaborate with the care team under Licensed Practical Nurse supervision to deliver safe, thorough basic care and services. Maintain exceptional attention to detail in documentation and demonstrate an empathetic approach to serving seniors with dignity and respect.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide certificate course and registered in the Health Care Aide Directory
- Must be fluent in English, both orally and in writing
- Exceptional attention to detail and documentation
- Strong planning, follow up, time management & organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and remain flexible within demanding environment
- Demonstrates AgeCare values and an empathetic attitude and approach in working with others
