Job Summary
Health Care Aide in Long Term Care at Airdrie Community providing essential daily living support and resident care. Responsibilities include aiding with activities of daily living, assisting with communication and sensory needs (glasses, hearing aids), administering medications under supervision, ensuring access to mobility/assistive devices, and delivering cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support to residents and families. Works as part of a team to enrich residents’ daily health and well-being; requires completion of an approved Health Care Aide program and eligibility to work in Canada, plus successful Vulnerable Sector Check. Proactively contribute to a respectful, inclusive care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Health Care Aide program from an approved college
- You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
- You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
