Job Summary
Health Care Aide role in Long Term Care at Lions Prairie Manor provides ADL support under supervision of RN/LPN/RPN, performing duties per the care plan and ensuring person-centered care. Must maintain certifications (BLS) and comply with PHIA/FIPPA, WHMIS, and SCHIPP guidelines; strong communication and teamwork skills required. Required Qualifications
- Health Care Aide Certificate from recognized program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Acute Care)
- Minimum Grade 12
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- Vulnerable Sector Search
- Adult Abuse Registry Check
- Child Abuse Registry Check
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize workload
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French for designated bilingual positions
