Job Summary
Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, and meal preparation while performing light housekeeping and accompanying them on outings. Manage medication reminders, support ambulation and transportation, and provide companionship to clients dealing with medical illnesses or age-related complications. Follow established care plans and maintain accurate documentation and charting. Work under the supervision of a Care Coordinator with flexible shifts ranging from two to twelve hours. Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain it is required, along with a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray. Required Qualifications
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student)
