Job Summary
Personal Support Worker with Qualicare Homecare in Edmonton South: provide in-home care including personal care and hygiene, meal preparation, light housekeeping, client companionship, accompany clients on outings, shopping and errands, medication reminders/assistance, ambulation and transport, follow established care plans, and maintain documentation. Requires PSW certificate or equivalent, CPR/First Aid, TB test/chest x-ray, ability to travel within the location territory, and access to internet/mobile phone. Flexible part-time shifts (4–12 hours), PPE provided, opportunities for advancement and ongoing education;-building close relationships with clients in home-care settings.
Required Qualifications
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student)
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Ability to travel around location territory
- Access to Internet/mobile phone
