Job Summary
The Personal Support Worker (PSW) assists clients with personal care and hygiene, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and accompanies clients on outings. Responsibilities include medication assistance and reminders, ambulating and transporting clients, providing companionship, and following care plans. Applicants must have a Personal Support Worker Certificate or an equivalent qualification, current CPR/First Aid training, and the ability to document and chart care. Required Qualifications
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student)
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Ability to travel around location territory
