Job Summary
Support residents with activities of daily living including eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming per individual plans of care. Build relationships with residents and family members while offering support options that enrich daily health and well-being. Provide ongoing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support alongside oral and dental care. Encourage participation in programs offered by the Resident Experience Team. Aid residents with communication and connections by assisting with sensory aids such as glasses and hearing aids. Ensure constant access to mobility devices like canes and walkers. With additional prescribed training, administer specific medication under supervision of a registered health professional. Work nights from 2245-0645 on Tuesdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Fridays at Sienna Senior Living's Airdrie Community.
Required Qualifications
- completed a Health Care Aide program from an approved college
- legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
- successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
