Health Care Aide - Home Care Program - St. James-Assiniboia Team

Health Care Aide (HCA) for WRHA Community Health Services – in-person role supporting clients in community homes, health care centers, and hospitals with activities of daily living to promote independence. Responsibilities include direct client/patient/resident care within established standards, policies and procedures, and adapting care to changing needs across various settings. Requires HCA training, Grade 10 education, and the ability to travel within assigned community settings. Strong communication, critical thinking, organizational skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. Computer skills (MS Word, Outlook) and experience with electronic charting are preferred. Fluency in English (French may be required) and knowledge of Indigenous customs are valued. Must be able to work day/evening/weekend shifts and meet criminal-record checks as a condition of employment.
