Health Care Aide - Home Care Program - River East Access

Health Care Aide (HCA) in the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority Home Care program serves clients in community/home settings, health care centers, and hospitals by assisting with activities of daily living under supervision to support independence and quality of care. The role requires successful completion of a recognized HCA course, a minimum Grade 10 education, and a valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle and willingness to travel. The position involves in-person work across shift patterns (days, evenings, weekends) and may require Basic Cardiac Life Support training in some settings; candidates should have strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills, and be able to operate in environments that may include travel between client homes and use of electronic charting systems.
