Health Care Aide - Home Care Program - R1 River East Access

Health Care Aide (HCA) for Home Care program in River East, Winnipeg. Provides direct client/patient/resident care and assists with activities of daily living to support independence across community homes, care centers, and hospitals. Duties include delivering safe, respectful personal care, effective communication with clients and team members, applying critical thinking, organizing workload, and using basic computer tools. Requires Manitoba Grade 10 education, completion of a recognized HCA course, and a valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license or willingness to travel; Basic Cardiac Life Support may be required in some settings. Shift pattern includes days, evenings, and weekends; in-person work arrangement with a 0.60 FTE. Strong emphasis on safety, privacy, and cultural awareness; opportunities to work independently or as part of a team.
