Job Summary
Health Care Aide (HCA) provides direct client/patient/resident care and assists with activities of daily living in home care, community, health care centers, or hospitals. Works under supervision to support independence, deliver comprehensive care, and meet changing client needs. Requires completion of a recognized Health Care Aide course, Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license (or willingness to travel), and Basic Cardiac Life Support training. Strong communication, critical thinking, and ability to work independently or as part of a team are valued; duties may span days, evenings, nights, weekends with shift patterns and in-person work in Winnipeg, MB.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a recognized Health Care Aide course
- Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle, and/or willingness to travel year-round
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Training and/or maintenance of competence may be required in some settings.
