Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living while maintaining their privacy and dignity in accordance with care plans and policies. Accurately document care observations and holistic needs to the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Contribute to a safe environment by adhering to safety guidelines, emergency preparedness, and occupational health procedures. Work cooperatively with interdisciplinary team members to evaluate and change documented resident care needs. Requires a Grade 10 education, approved Health Care Aide certificate, and CLHA registration. Variable shifts in Olds, Alberta.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 10 education
- Government of Alberta approved Health Care Aide certificate
- Registered with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA)
- Ability to work effectively in a physically and mentally demanding environment
- Demonstrates ability to understand, speak, read and write effectively in English
- Excellent observation, communication and problem solving skills
- Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Criminal Background Check
- Provide proof of all mandatory immunizations
