Job Summary
Health Capacity Strengthening Associate will provide technical and operational support to the implementation of the AfDB-funded Sudan Integrated Social Sector Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project (SISSIRP), with a focus on health capacity strengthening and training activities, including institutional capacity building at federal and state levels, coordination with WHO and other key health actors, and ensuring alignment with IOM regulations, rules and procedures to restore and expand access to essential health services across four states (Aj Jazira, River Nile, Sennar, White Nile). The role supports delivery of health capacity strengthening and training activities under SISSIRP, contributing to resilience, community capacity, and equitable service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree/Certificate (as suggested)
- Experience in health capacity strengthening or health systems strengthening preferred
- Coordination with multiple stakeholders (WHO, government at federal/state levels)
- Ability to work under supervision within international project context
- Experience with project implementation in health sector (AfDB/SISSIRP context desirable)
- Strong organizational and training delivery skills
- Knowledge of IOM regulations, rules and procedures (or willingness to learn)
- Fluency in English (and perhaps Arabic) would be advantageous
